The Butter Lamb (baranek) is a traditional symbol, representing Jesus, the Lamb of God.  The red ribbon around the neck represents His death and the banner represents Jesus’ resurrection. The Butter Lamb is an important symbol that graces the Easter table of Catholics of Polish heritage.
